Auto Mission gives at-risk youths a second chance, repairing cars,
repairing lives.
OPPORTUNITIES
Become a Volunteer
Applying to become a volunteer takes some time, preparation and effort. But as with any project that you give your time to freely, the rewards far outweigh the difficulties. At Auto Mission and our sister organization Mission Makeover, we have a number of different programs that need your help.
- We perform weekly community service at the Tarrant Area Food Bank on Friday mornings. We usually have eight to 12 girls from the Mission Makeover program working with us, and we can always use volunteers to work with the girls and build relationships.
- Once or twice a month, we need help with music for a weekly chapel service at the boys' facility in Roanoke. The service is held each Sunday morning from 10 a.m. to noon.
- We need mentors for the boys' facility in Roanoke who can commit to weekly contact.
- Starting in late August 2009, we need two adults to help on Wednesdays from 4 to 5 p.m. Volunteers will help the boys at McFadden Ranch fill backpacks for a weekly program that benefits the children at Roanoke Elementary School.
There is a huge need to share the gospel with these kids. We provide lots of different programs so that they can build relationships with adult followers of Christ. Please feel free to contact us for more information.
