Food Pantry

On May 30th Auto Mission and Mission Makeover partnered with First Baptist Keller, Springdale Baptist and Woodland Heights Baptist to host a Baby Fair and food pantry for the families of students at Springdale Elementary School. In cooperation with Edie Hudson counselor at Springdale Elementary families were invited to attend the one day event held at Springdale Baptist.

Over 5,000 pounds of food were distributed to 74 families which consisted of 300 adults and children.   Edie Hudson delivered food to 11 additional families who were not able to attend the event. 

Auto Mission provided the food through their food pantry program in cooperation with the Tarrant Area Food Bank.

Sherry and Terry Legan wish to thank the church family for providing diapers, baby wipes, bibs, bottles and other baby items for gift baskets.   The ladies from Woodland Heights Baptist Church set up the tables of baby items and gift baskets. 

Members of First Baptist Keller greeted all the families during the intake, shared the Gospel and provided information and an invitation to Springdale Baptist Church. 

 Each child received a brand new Teddy Bear. 
The bears were provided by Family Christian Book Stores (Hurst)  Each Bear had a heart on a bow around his neck that shared the plan of Salvation.

The girls from The Halfway House helped with breaking down and cleaning up after the days event.

We can not begin to list everyone that made The Baby Fair a huge success.
