Art Camp

Beginning in January The Ministries of Auto Mission joined The One Heart Project in providing monthly Art Camps.

Each month we meet with a group of 8 young men for a morning of fun, fellowship and learning.

The day begins with the young men arriving around 9:30. Art Camp is a special treat for them because they get to 'get out' of school! For us it is a special treat because we get the opportunity for some one on one time with the young men that we don't get on Sunday Chapel Service or Wednesday Drama Team practise.

Art Camp gives us another chance to share God's love with these amazing young men.

And, it give us a chance to meet some young men that haven't come to church 'yet'. A couple of young men from the January Art Camp are now regular attendees on Sunday. Praise God!

We are grateful to Anne the Art Camp Director for allowing us to be a part of this amazing ministry.



The session begins with Anne showing some different types of art. And then she shares how

God gave her a 'heart' and a 'talent' as an artist. While Anne talks the boys listen and make some pencil drawings.

And then, the fun begins!


Some of the volunteers are inspired by the boys enthusiasm and begin their own artwork as they work along side the boys.


And while volunteers and young men work and talk God's love is shared. Each volunteer shares a special Bible verse with each young man and present him with a Bible.
